Mommy is spending the morning with you while daddy gives blood. He is giving blood that they will store for blood transfusions when you need them. You weighed 2 lb 2 oz last night. unfortunately you are still loosing weight. Your breathing has improved today though and your 02 percentage is down. They are hoping when daddy gets back he will get to hold you for the first time. The nurse and I were changing your diaper and you peed all over the places. We had to clean you up and you were mad. It was cute to see your little temper and personality. Your billirubin is going up and they are now keeping you under billilights all day. I enjoy sitting here and just watching you. You stretch your arms and legs and wiggle all around. You are such a fighter. You have pulled out your NG tube the past 2 days and you are always pulling off your temp probe. It is so funny! It's a good thing, you need to be a fighter to come home to us.

Daddy got to hold you for the first time! You snuggled on his chest and fell asleep. It was so sweet. He held you for an hour and he was so excited. It was amazing to see your tiny arms embrace daddy's chest. You are a miracle.We are so proud of how strong you are getting. You can do it buddy!
