Hey little man! Today you weigh 3 lb 5.7 oz. Today mommy, daddy and Ethan all came to see you. It was nice to see you without the IV. You are eating 28 cc's every 3 hrs now by NG tube. Today they are doing some test because your billirubin continues to be slightly elevated. They are worried you might have galactocemia, but they are not sure yet. One test they will have back in the morning and the other we will have to wait on. We are hoping it is not that. Daddy got to snuggle you today, so tomorrow is mommy's turn!

Today was a good day. Your test came back negative this morning, we are so thankful for that. They are still looking for other reasons your levels are elevated though. Mommy and daddy came to see you and I got to hold you. I changed your diaper and I was too slow and you pooped everywhere! They are hoping your billirubin will go down naturally when you pass stool so you need to poop a lot. You are eating 28 cc's every 3 hrs and they added a calorie supplement to the breastmilk to help you gain weight. Hopefully you will be 4 lb soon so you can go to an open crib and get dressed. You were really sucking on your passi today, it was cute! You are becoming so alert. The night nurse called and said you weighed 3 lb 3.6 oz, hopefully tomorrow will be better on the weight gain!
