Today mommy came to see you while daddy was at the firestation and I got to nurse you for the first time. You don't quite have the hang of it, but we will keep trying. You weighed 3 lb 7.4 oz this evening which is great since you lost a little yesterday. They increased the calorie supplement in your milk.

Mommy and Daddy came up to see you. Daddy held you for an hour and then mommy nursed you. You did a little better today! Ethan came by too with Grammy and got to sit in my lap while I held you. He gave you kisses and hugs and rubbed your hair. You weigh 3 lb 8.3 oz. Good Job! Your billirubin stayed the same so they will just keep watching it. You were started on Epogen to help increase your red blood cell production and hopefully reduce the number of blood transfusions in the future. Aunt Katie donated blood to you in case you need it!
